Thanks for the comments guys and yes, lead generation is not easy in many cases. However, I have found that if you put a lot of great tools in your toolbox, it is a lot easier. I have been using some new funnels to grow my client base on my internet businesses and have found some of the lead gen sites listed above to be very effective and a powerful way to grow your business online.

Very interesting insights Eric. I am sure some other options will present themselves, but Viddler was a gooddie for a long time. Now that YouTube is allowing longer video and some other features it may be a viable options for some purposes, but its always sad to see a free service go pay, especially one you love.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Lead generation is probably one of the hardest tasks in business, but your tips on how to get started and move ahead really helped me get going and not worry. Also the list of lead gen sites you mentioned is excellent and very helpful because people don’t have to invest a great deal of time trying to research to find out if what would be the best sites to gather new leads and referrals for their firm.

Super bummer to find this out…..
I am giving a presentation on Web 2.0 tools for teachers in a few days. I was preparing to showcase Viddler and how wonderful it is to provide feedback to students on their videos. Part of my presentation includes free Web 2.0 tools as most teachers just don’t have the funds to pay for web subscriptions.

Hopefully some other video site will have a similar function to allow video comments or text comments tied to a specific moment in the film.

Come on Viddler….pretty please…do it for the kids. They need feedback on their films in order to make better films.
