Not only is it good for business for all of the reasons you stated. All of my distant relatives are on it and I do not even know who they are. It is amazing that a few years ago Facebook's office in Seattle interviewed me for a job (that was in my field but unrelated to the web) and I was thinking who is Facebook? Now they are number 2.
