That title may have not made since to everybody, but if you have read some of my many blogs you most likely know what Twine is.  This site was a cool new concept on social bookmarking with a touch of social network build in too.  I loved this site and it was also a great way to get a couple juicy back links if you were looking for some new inbound links for your sites.

Well, this site has decided to move their current project and combine their services with a website called Evri.

They have said that there will be more functionality on the new site.  However, from what I have seen so far I am not sure that there will be any more features, it actually looks like their are less.  This may just be part of the transitional period for these two social sites, but only time will tell.  The combination of sites may pay off for mobile users, because evri does have a mobile app ready to go for iPhone users.

We hope that everybody takes a chance to move over now, they are offering a special import service right now and we don’t know if this will be available in the future.  I for one and moving all my account info over right now.  I am sure I will miss a lot of features of the old twine site, but I also am looking forward to any and all new features that will be offered by this merger.
